Shit happens right? so my painting teacher, when she takes my paintings for the term down from a gallery, puts them in a plastic bag and left it in the hall for a few minutes while she went elsewhere. When she came back, they were gone! Turns out the janitor, thinking the plastic bag was for trash, picked it up. My teacher tried to get it back, but by that time it had gone through the compressor and was now a 2-inch cube. Fortunately, I was able to scan one painting- the one with the ramen. No matter.
